We use the Comprehension programs from Essential Skills every day. From a technical standpoint they are very robust programs and resilient to server issues and errors that will cause problems with other software. The programs are certainly helpful in correcting skill deficits. Many of our Special Education students have made significant gains in reading thanks in large part to the Comprehension programs from Essential Skills.

The Essential Skills programs are easy to use and our children are really motivated by them. The teachers like using the marks manager to see how the children are progressing and to get reports to use in parent conferencing. We also use the programs to provide specific skill training for students on an individualized basis. The skills presented are reflective of the skills being taught in the classroom and provide excellent reinforcement. I would absolutely recommend this software to other schools!
